WIWOW // David Ogilvy Awards Invitation

Today's What I'm Working on Wednesday (WIWOW) features the longest invitation I've ever created—12 pages! Here's a peak at the 2014 ARF David Ogilvy Awards invitation to enter the prestigious advertising contest and attend the awards gala in Mad Men-land, Manhattan.

These are a few of my favorite pages:

I absolutely adored collaborating on this project with the fabulous copywriter, Debra Stern.

What I'm Working on Wednesday // Coastal Save the Dates

My client couple is the epitome of coastal cool. With a destination wedding in Rosemary Beach, and so many chic and creative DIY details it would make your head spin. It seemed only fitting to use an aqua and bright white color palette with nautical knots and mermaids for their letterpress save the dates.

Beyond thrilled with how these turned out!

What I'm Working on Wednesday // Countess Cards

I was super excited to design new business cards for the lovely ladies at Fairfield Countess! The editors of this high fashion meets local food, and universal beauty blog needed some calling cards as chic as they are. We used European sizing—obvi—and kept the type and colors clean and classic: black, white and burgundy. Gorg!
Definitely visit the Fairfield Countess site for all things fabulous happening in Fairfield County. And be sure to follow them on Facebook and Twitter for up-to-the-minute buzz.

What I'm Working on Wednesday // Nonna's 90th

You're invited to check out all the design details and photos from my grandmother's 90th birthday bash! We kicked it off with a garden-themed invitation by yours truly and carried that through with seating cards, table numbers, even the centerpieces were made from lilacs and sunflowers from Rochester's Public Market.
Pretty amazing that Nonna was able to celebrate her 90th with her 96 year old big sister.
Three children, seven grandkids, and three great-grandchildren all hoping we got Nonna's incredible genes. Baci Cari!

What I'm Working on Wednesday // Garden Wedding Invitations

After the groom's parents hired me to design this fabulous couple's engagement party invitations, the bride and groom asked me to create their wedding invitations too! I love the garden party theme and the coral and green color combination they chose, it feels so fresh and fun. Wish you could run your hand over the texture of this double ply letterpressed paper—so luxurious.
Cannot wait to see the pictures from Margaret and Jared's big day! One thing's for sure—with both of the groom's parents being photographers, the photos should incredible.

What I'm Working on Wednesday // Sunshine Wedding Invites

Super obsessed with the latest suite of invitations that were sent out to these fab clients. Aside from tying into their wedding color-wise, the taupe and yellow look so delicious together—it makes me think they'll have crazy amazing food. (And with the bride having such an Italian last name, they most likely will.)

Loved the bride's idea to have a Mad Libs response card. These are going to be so fun to read when she gets them back in the mail.

The entire yummy wedding suite!

The Miz Mooz Spring '13 lookbook was printed last August and I've been patiently waiting to share this super fun project with you! I am in love with the retro style of this book—take a peek at the cover and sample spread.

Right?!
Can we please bring back the head-kerchief—a la Laverne & Shirley?

What I'm Working on Wednesday // Blog Design

I am so excited to have my first fellow blogger client! Mama from Our Tiny Place has seen insane amounts of web traffic since OTP was listed as one of the Top Baby Blogs and she wanted to give a little love to her blog—enter Andrea Espach (blog) Design!

We gave her a nice clean color palette that didn't compete with the adorable photos in her posts, a few buttons, and organization, and... voila!

Definitely visit Our Tiny Place if you're looking to read some truly well-written stories about a beautiful (and hilarious) family, enter a cool giveaway, or get your daily dose of ridiculous.

What I'm Working on Wednesday // PopShop™

I've been dropping hints about a new and exciting project and guess what, people! I'm letting you in on the news...

Couldn't be more excited to be working with the perfect team—the lovely Ashley Kane and Kelly Scinto. We've been hard at work reaching out to only the most fabulous vendors, scouting the perfect location, and patiently waiting for the right time to share the exciting news—without further ado let me introduce, PopShop!

PopShop is a European-style open-air pop up market. PopShop will feature 50-75 top curated vendors of antique and repurposed furniture, artwork, jewelry, and fashion by local artists, designers, and merchants. Each event will feature a local Connecticut brewer as well as delicious food from the hottest food trucks. Attendees will be able to grab a pop from our bar car and a tasty bite from top local farm-to-table eating establishments while they peruse the market.

We aim to provide a unique experience like no other pop up shop. The first PopShop will take place on June 1 in Fairfield, Connecticut—so mark your iCal. But be sure to check back, because we'll be announcing the top-secret PopShop location as we get closer to the date!

It goes without saying that you should follow PopShop on Facebook and Twitter as we name-drop PopShop vendors, food trucks, and tons more.

What I'm Working on Wednesday // AED Business Cards

I've been a bit spotty with the blog posts lately, but at least I haven't missed a WIWOW! I'm excited to share my new letterpressed business cards and today is the day. Feast your eyes...

Letterpress with pink edging...life is complete. My girls at Spark Letterpress have done it again. Whether it's a set of business cards or a wedding invitation suite, they kill it every time—I have serious love for them.

Designing up a storm on a bunch of big projects this month and next that I'm SOOOO excited about as well as a new business venture that is truly going to knock your socks off—B-A-N-A-N-A-S! Should be able to spill the beans by February. (I know, February=eternity. Ugh.)
