Booty Poppin' Design

I have major love for The Honest Co. from their eco & wallet-friendly products, right down to the always helpful and quick-to-respond customer service. But what's really blowing my mind right now are the latest diaper designs. I may never potty train Trump.

Just kidding, their training pants are super cute too—trucks and robots and starry skies—Oh my!

What I'm Working on Wednesday // PopShop™

I've been dropping hints about a new and exciting project and guess what, people! I'm letting you in on the news...

Couldn't be more excited to be working with the perfect team—the lovely Ashley Kane and Kelly Scinto. We've been hard at work reaching out to only the most fabulous vendors, scouting the perfect location, and patiently waiting for the right time to share the exciting news—without further ado let me introduce, PopShop!

PopShop is a European-style open-air pop up market. PopShop will feature 50-75 top curated vendors of antique and repurposed furniture, artwork, jewelry, and fashion by local artists, designers, and merchants. Each event will feature a local Connecticut brewer as well as delicious food from the hottest food trucks. Attendees will be able to grab a pop from our bar car and a tasty bite from top local farm-to-table eating establishments while they peruse the market.

We aim to provide a unique experience like no other pop up shop. The first PopShop will take place on June 1 in Fairfield, Connecticut—so mark your iCal. But be sure to check back, because we'll be announcing the top-secret PopShop location as we get closer to the date!

It goes without saying that you should follow PopShop on Facebook and Twitter as we name-drop PopShop vendors, food trucks, and tons more.

If I had a niece her stocking would be overflowing with purty things like these!

What I'm Working on Wednesday // Beary Cute Baby Shower Invites

In the same vein as the elephant baby shower invites I designed a little while back, I thought it might be fun to develop a mama/baby animal baby shower collection. Today's showcases a bear-themed baby shower invite with teeny registry card. Best part is I can customize these for the shower you're throwing. Hit em up in the shop.

AND... contest is still going strong, you have until tomorrow night to enter and win two tickets to the Harbor Brew Fest. To enter:

• Leave your name in the comments section below

I Carried A Watermelon.

It's that time of year! We're off to Dirty Dancing camp. Cannot wait to spend more QT with the fam' and wrap up Summer with our annual trip to Capon Springs, WV—which I lovingly refer to as Kellermans.

Best. Movie. Ever.

Here's to hoping the boys are on their best behavior and I don't have to put any babies in a corner.

EXTRA! EXTRA!

I'm super duper extra excited to announce the launch of Andrea Espach Design's shop on Etsy. Behold the new "shop" button to the right and here's a sneak peek of what you'll see when you go...

Head over for an exclusive look at a couple new projects! The latest save-the-date scratch off cards, as well as... wait for it.... gender reveal scratch off cards!

I'm super excited about the gender reveal cards, in case you couldn't tell. So if you're prego and want to share the exciting news of whether you're "hatching" a boy or girl in a different and fun way, you just have to check these out.

A Very Happy Half-Birthday.

And the award for most hilarious client goes to Stella's Mama, Christie. Let's just say the original text for her little one's half-birthday-meets-non-religious-Christening-welcome-to-the-world-music-festival included references to LSD and smelly hippies. Papa Gilmore thought we could tone it down a bit, and what we ended up with makes me soooo freaking happy.

My photo assistant, Trump.

In case you're wondering, the replacement text says to "Ditch: Tents, VW Buses, & Hitchhikers" Brillz.

In other news, I'm dropping some pretty fun news on Friday. Get psyched, cheerleader-style + sparkle fingers.

Baby (Shower) Love.

My fab cousin—basically sister—is having her first little baby muffin in October. And Baby Shower Extravaganza planning is in full on idea-mode. Now, I am not in charge of decorations, (just invitations—of course) but I saw a cool idea for "table numbers" and I think it's pretty darn cute.

These colorfully illustrated flash cards are only $29! And the Eric Carle cards are a whopping $14.95. BANANAS!

Announcing... a BABY!

Holy cow—last August must have been a gettin' busy kind of month—so many couples have welcomed a baby into their family over the weekend! I'm so happy for all of you Mommies, Daddies, and new big brothers and big sisters. Congratulations!

This was Lil G's December birth announcement (slash) Christmas card.
It's still one of my favorite designed pieces of all time:
Obviously, Andrea Espach Design can design circles around those online card shops, so between feedings and diaper duty shoot me an email or give me a ring (whatever's easier for you)—and we'll create something super personalized and unique—just like your little one.

Food=Love

I'm sure it's true in every culture, but especially for Italians—we show our love through food. That's why it makes me so happy when my little Trumpster devours whatever I cook for him. He's my adventurous eater and this weekend he tackled Chicken Picatta, Tortellini Vegetable soup, and Spinach and Cheddar Scrambled Eggs.

I'm super excited for the beautiful Spring weather this week has in store. Bike rides here we come!

What I'm Working on Wednesday :: Baby Shower Invitations

A baby is coming to town! Sisterly love is alive and well—this future Auntie hired AED to design baby shower invitations for her expecting sister's baby shower.

The teeny registry card fits neatly inside tiny glassine "peanut" baggies.

Color scheme is pink, blue and taupe, since the parents-to-be are waiting to find out if their "little peanut"—get it!— is a boy or girl.

Broccoli Frittata

Over the long weekend I had a chance to try a couple new recipes.
This super easy broccoli frittata kicked off the weekend for us.

Only one of the boys enjoyed it.

A lot.

Sharing is caring.

What I'm Working on Wednesday :: Engagement Party Invitations

The scratch-off Save the Dates were a winner! I got a request to reposition the concept as an engagement invitation. And as far as I'm concerned it works as long as these lovebirds are lucky in love.

Here they are in champagne (taupe) and persimmon (burnt orange).

I'd REALLY love to do something along these lines for a Las Vegas or casino wedding. If you know of someone—tell them where they can find the perfect invite/stationary/save the date.

It's been a while since I've shared some pics of the little guys and McMuffin...

I love Li'l G's jammies. From Nonna and Poppy—both are from GAP.
