What I'm Working on Wednesday // PopShop™

I've been dropping hints about a new and exciting project and guess what, people! I'm letting you in on the news...

Couldn't be more excited to be working with the perfect team—the lovely Ashley Kane and Kelly Scinto. We've been hard at work reaching out to only the most fabulous vendors, scouting the perfect location, and patiently waiting for the right time to share the exciting news—without further ado let me introduce, PopShop!

PopShop is a European-style open-air pop up market. PopShop will feature 50-75 top curated vendors of antique and repurposed furniture, artwork, jewelry, and fashion by local artists, designers, and merchants. Each event will feature a local Connecticut brewer as well as delicious food from the hottest food trucks. Attendees will be able to grab a pop from our bar car and a tasty bite from top local farm-to-table eating establishments while they peruse the market.

We aim to provide a unique experience like no other pop up shop. The first PopShop will take place on June 1 in Fairfield, Connecticut—so mark your iCal. But be sure to check back, because we'll be announcing the top-secret PopShop location as we get closer to the date!

It goes without saying that you should follow PopShop on Facebook and Twitter as we name-drop PopShop vendors, food trucks, and tons more.

Not-So-Mellow Yellow.

I'm having a crush on yellow these days. Usually paired with metallic gold. It's becoming a problem.

Indian Influence.

Loving the colors, textures, patterns and sometimes sparkles of the fabrics, jewelry, accessories and even furniture that have been heavily influenced by Indian culture lately.

It feels a little costumey, but who am I kidding—I'd LOVE to wear a little headdress like the sparkly accessories Jessica Alba and Nicole Richie are donning.

The Olsen twins always know when to kick it up 5 million notches and leave their bum casual wear in the closet. I especially love Ashley's blue sari.
The amount of "Full House" episodes I've watched is obscene. So of course, I can tell them apart!

Even these beautiful pieces of furniture are getting in on the action! The rustic texture with the gorgeous colors — L.O.V.E.

Designer, Sheridan French travels to Bali each year to find unique fabrics for her line. Loving the rich sapphire color for the Petra Tunic (in Galaxy).

I have these and they are even brighter better than pictured.

These feel a little more Native American 'Indian' but whatever—they're pretty badass.

Now, go bring your Indian, Quadrille, Sari, Ikat, Headdress sexy back.
