What I'm Working on Wednesday // Coastal Save the Dates

My client couple is the epitome of coastal cool. With a destination wedding in Rosemary Beach, and so many chic and creative DIY details it would make your head spin. It seemed only fitting to use an aqua and bright white color palette with nautical knots and mermaids for their letterpress save the dates. 

Beyond thrilled with how these turned out!

What I'm Working on Wednesday // Garden Wedding Invitations

After the groom's parents hired me to design this fabulous couple's engagement party invitations, the bride and groom asked me to create their wedding invitations too! I love the garden party theme and the coral and green color combination they chose, it feels so fresh and fun. Wish you could run your hand over the texture of this double ply letterpressed paper—so luxurious.

Cannot wait to see the pictures from Margaret and Jared's big day! One thing's for sure—with both of the groom's parents being photographers, the photos should incredible.

We're back!

Fresh off a looooong flight back from Cabo, Mexico where we celebrated the fabulous, delicious, and wild wedding of an old friend. This couple knows how to throw a party—complete with mariachi band. I mean, can we discuss these pants? Cream, gold bedazzling...Wow. Just Wow!

But we're back, rejuventated, and ready to rock. ¡Vamanos!

Fourteen Days.

In fourteen days I will be here for a wedding (whose save the date I'm obsessed with). Be jealous.

What I'm Working on Wednesday // Sunshine Wedding Invites

Super obsessed with the latest suite of invitations that were sent out to these fab clients. Aside from tying into their wedding color-wise, the taupe and yellow look so delicious together—it makes me think they'll have crazy amazing food. (And with the bride having such an Italian last name, they most likely will.)

Loved the bride's idea to have a Mad Libs response card. These are going to be so fun to read when she gets them back in the mail.

Sweet Invitations and Cupcake Flags

I put on my big girl pants, and have been patiently waiting to share these AED invitations and cupcake flags. I s'pose I could've taken the photos myself, but my clients are pro photographers so I figured they'd be worth the wait... and obvi, I was right on the money. Here are a few shots of the vintage-inspired engagement soirée for Mindi and Rich's son and daughter-in-law-to-be at The Brooklyn Artists Gym.

My friend Shelley literally just sent me this link. Call the paramedics, I'm DYING! Where was all this gorgeousness when I was getting married? So jealous of those brides-to-be out there planning their special day. BHLDN is killing it with unique gowns, funky but elegant accessories, and decorations and stationery that have me starting a Pinterest board for my second wedding—same groom, obviously!

 WHAT?! Straight up pouting that I didn't wear this to my reception.

This dress is so simple and beautiful—especially with the ginormous flower!

Just about the most perfect veil on Earth.

Throw-back veil=fun and different, so over the birdcage veil.

After seeing this cake platter, one of the boys WILL have a sea-themed birthday party this year—taking it to necessity status. And in honor of me and McMuffin's five year anniversary, I'm hanging these MR. / MRS. banners on our dining room seats for the rest of the year.
