Happy Weekend.

The boys are absolutely hooked on paddle boarding (with Moi)—and this weekend we'll be joined by friends and their twin nieces—the Sound doesn't know what it's in for.

Have a great weekend people and be sure to save the date for the upcoming PopShop Market: August 18, 2013. The latest fab location was announced today on Fairfieldista! Head there for the scoop. To say we're excited would be an understatement.

Rebooted.

Top of the Monday mornin' people! We're back from a looooong holiday in Charlestown, RI. Sunning, surfing, paddle boarding, and frozen lemonade for six days has a way of making me excited to return to the design world with a brighter outlook and refilled pool of creativity. If you're not quite ready to be back at it—then these shots are for you.

Hope you had a great fourth. We're back—recharged, rebooted, and ready to rock.

SHA-PRISE! This Mama got her very own SUP (stand up paddle board) for Mother's Day—time to accessorize—obviously.

Vacation Recap... part two

I couldn't help myself—more pictures of my favorite boys.

FACT: Black sand sticks to magnetic train parts... and does not come off easily. At all.

Aaaand wrapping it up with a little ice cream dessert.

Martinis, 'Kinis, and Sunscreenies.

The Espachs are hitting the pavement—Roadtrip Style! There'll be sun, sea, sand, (driving, driving, driving) a dear friend's wedding, some baby kissing, and a birthday party. Phew—I'm tired just thinking about it. Here are a few of my faves that are definitely being tossed in the ol' duffle bag.

What I'm Working on Wednesday: PINK!

You may remember the website I designed for my SIL, Ali a while back. Well now, we're refreshing that to include the paperback edition of The Adults and a new short story, Someone's Uncle. In the meantime, girl needed some business cards.

In other pink news, I got a new-to-me bike! I feel like I'm ten years old when I ride this cute little beach cruiser. (Might also be because it was made for a 10 year old.) This gorgeous hunk of metal sends me back to my Fancy Dancer days. Sigh*

Brrrring Brrrrrrrrrrrrrrrringggg!

Surf's Up.

I typically LOVE Fall, but I'm really enjoying the Summer weather and I kinda don't want it to end. In the spirit of Summer lovin' here are a few gorgeous home designs that incorporate surf boards. I'm clearly in need of one for the boys' playroom—so if you know of anyone selling a used surfboard, I'm interested.

I really like the all wood look of this board—no ugly branding to muck it up.

The often imitated Saturdays Surf oozes laid back cool. Who doesn't need some of that?!

I'm dying to install an outdoor shower—maybe next Summer. This is a cute idea, but maybe a little much.

Perfection! Digging everything about this room. FIDDLE LEAF FIG TREE! (My birthday is NEXT MONTH!)

Love the pops of color from the board to the door and the hydrangea. Gorg!

Do surfers really say, "Surf's up Dude"? Just curious.

And if you haven't entered yet, head to yesterday's post to sign up for The Adults paperback giveaway.

Weekend Wrap Up: Pizza Edition

McMuffin and I kicked the weekend off with a date night. We saw the final Harry Potter movie (Best. One. Ever.) and then hit Bodega for margaritas and other deliciousness. All I have to say is: short ribs. Wow.

I'm officially on a pizza kick (and so are the boys). I made seven pizzas total last night: 3 margherita pizzas, 2 vegetarian-zucchini, garlic, ricotta, artichoke, fresh mozzarella and 2 just like the vegetarian with grilled balsamic chicken on top.

G$ and Baby Trump both got haircuts. Li'l G went to Sharkey's (best kid's haircut place ever—and he is NOT an easy client) and the Trumpster went to "Salon Mama"—it looks pretty darn awesome if I do say so myself. I might need to come up with a new name for the baby since his Trump-ness is now gone. Hmmmm. I'll get back to this.

Li'l G was awesome yesterday at mass. He sang songs, his volume level was on low, he didn't shove his brother and there was no running up and down the aisles = Perfect. Angel...except for after the concluding rite when he yelled out "ALL DONE". Anyway, as a treat, we hit the beach to look for 'dinosaur eggs' because—you know—that's where they live.

And my parents arrived. They will be staying with us for a few days and I couldn't be happier! I could definitely use the help.

Bar Awesome.

I'm basically obsessed with the taco bar we hit last night for Girls' Night Out: BAR TACO.

Not sure if I'm digging the font, it feels beachy but could they have found something better—prob.

Is this not one of THE most gorgeous photographs ever? Uh, yea.
If anyone knows the artist—I'm dying to know.

Time for some margs with the ladies.

Loving the basket lampshades. They give the place such a laid back vibe.

The staff uniform is so fun: white jeans/pants and any blue/white/sometimes green plaid shirt.

Onto the main event...DIN DIN! The fish tacos are OUT. OF. THIS. WORLD. I heart cilantro.

Churros and some chocolatey cakey gooey goodness in a some natural type of wrapper.

Then the margaritas kicked in.

Bar Taco is opening a second location in Stamford. I think the perfect third location would be where the Seagrape currently is in Fairfield. What? I can try can't I.

Also, I can't get this song out of my head and I like it.
