Happy Holidays

Designing and styling are in full effect at AED—feeling incredibly blessed to be so darn busy with all my fab design and styling clients. You. Are. The. BEST!

And of course, having the most fun, warm, snuggly, sometimes-trouble-making family makes all the hard work worth it. They are the ultimate icing on the cake.

Five.

Happy fifth birthday G$! You're one fierce duck, duck, goose player, a great big bro, and the most super hero I've ever known.

Green cupcakes (by yours truly), dinosaurs, and Dusty Crophoppers all in the mix for this big kid's special day. Celebrating all week long, baby!

Weekend Wrap Up // City Slackers

We took Cash and Trump to the Intrepid Museum at Pier 86 this weekend. The ship is so massive, they didn't realize we were even on a boat—this made the airplanes, jets and submarine WAY more impressive!
Cash with McMuffin and Lolo on the sub.

 Don't rock the boat, baby.

 M*A*S*H
anyone? anyone?
Boys left me hanging during our photo op with the black jet... thanksssss.

Found our cousin and his fab girlfriend at Holey Cream (where donuts meet ice cream)
and took a stroll on a beautiful Spring day in New York.

 Best part of my day.
The whole damn fam on our old stoop. (Instagram-style—follow me here.)

For Your Information.

When you see this guy from here on out I'll be referring to him as Cash—no more Li'l G or G$.

When I was preggers with this little muffin I verrrrrry badly wanted to name him Cash. Well, McMuffin put a stop to that. And we went with a very respectable name (which I love) but since I'm not sharing that here, it's the perfect opportunity to give him the name I wanted for him when my pregnancy hormones were in full effect.

XOXOXO.

From my boys, G$ and Trump, to you! Happy Valentine's Day.

Check out the scene from Trump's classroom today! Love it.
Major props to the Supermom who pulled this off.

Weekend Wrap Up // Nemo

I grew up in Upstate New York—and I don't mean Westchester—so this weekend I was feeling right at home with the 35" we got in Fairfield, Connecticut.

We headed out Friday morning to The Pantry to stock up on storm snacks and pre-sledding hot cocoa.
Got our gear on.
And hit Sturges Hill with our sleds!
Nothing tastes better than post (insert winter activity here) snacks. Just ask Trump.
And when we woke up Saturday morning, the real snow had hit.
Time for snacks and champagne at the neighbor's house!
On Sunday morning I found a spinning class that was actually open
so I went out in this Winter Wonderland...
My little Lewis and Clark Expedition making their way down our street to the other neighbor's house.
Cheese.

Week of Cheer 2012 // Friday

Wrapping up 2012's week of cheer (a week later) with our very own Espach Christmas card and lots of holiday cheer to all of  you. I hope you had a peaceful Christmas weekend and are ready to rock this upcoming new year. I know one little guy who's ready...
 TRUMP!!!

Week of Cheer 2012 // Thursday

What happens when there's one random snow storm in October (a few days after hurricane Sandy no less)? Christmas card photo shoot of course! I mean, can you get more festive than this?

And of course an outtake of with my favorite photo assistant's foot. Is there anything cuter than toddler feet? Uh, no.

Week of Cheer 2012 // Wednesday

When your little guy is this cute it's hard to pick just one photo for the ol' Christmas card. So this crafty Mama asked for a series of two and we changed up the back say either "Merry Christmas" or "Happy Holidays" (not shown). They also had some super exciting news to share about an upcoming move... so we used the back to spread the word (and include another adorable shot of this muffin).

Week of Cheer 2012 // Monday

After an emotional weekend filled with sadness but also thanksgiving for our blessings, I've decided to move forward with the 2012 Week of Cheer (and share my top 5 fave Christmas cards designed this year—one for each day of the week). After all, I think we could all use a little cheer.

Without further ado, Monday's Week of Cheer feature is this card filled with Love & Joy from some seriously adorable brothers (with seriously adorable names: Sebastien & Archer. Right?) and their Mom and Dad.

I also want to thank all of my 2012 Christmas Card Clients for hiring AED, especially since 100% of the design proceeds are being donated to help families affected by hurricane Sandy.

And one little weekend update... Santa Clause came to town!
