Britney Double Take.

I've been a Britney Spears fan since I first saw the "Hit Me Baby One More Time" video on MTV in the Student Center lounge my Freshman Year of college. And I'm always in her corner no matter what the popular opinion is of her talent level, or personal life. So I was super excited when I was stalking checking out Britney's Facebook page and was blown away by how beautiful she looks in her profile picture! So happy for her, in fact, that I shoved the photo on my iPhone under McMuffin's nose to look at the picture and told him her trim physique and bright eyes, complexion and smile could only be attributed to her love-muffin-fiancé, Jason, and exciting future on X-Factor.

Upon further scrutiny (read: further stalking on Getty Images Editorial Photos), I discovered that that glorious and inspiring Facebook photo (which has since suspiciously changed) was nothing more than a SHAM, people! In fact the closer I looked at the two pictures—the perfect Facebook photo and the real-deal Getty Images pic—the more I could pickup the individual Photoshop improvements... increased arch and filled in eyebrows, skinnier arms, bustier bust, less wrinkle-y elbow, etc.

Britney, You've had a few tough years that no doubt aged you more than your average 30 year old. But if you want to appear skinnier you should just hop on the J. Hud wagon and sign up for Weight Watchers. You're trusted graphic designer/photoshop pro can't help you on your upcoming X Factor appearances.

She's My Sister. I love my Sister.

I miss the days when my birthday was a week-long (sometimes month-long) event. Well, Laura is still in her prime for making the most of her big day. So, to kick off my sister's birthday weekend, I thought I'd dedicate this post to her!

First off, I have to thank her for being such an amazing Aunt to my boys. They freaking LOVE her!

I also want to thank her for being a great sister-in-law to McMuffin and making him feel like part of the fam.

And for giving the BEST. TOAST. EVER. at our wedding. She's great on a mic.

I mean, she really gets into it.

Really.

She just loves hearing herself talk.

Or sing.

Or pretending to be Mariah Carey.

She's only knocked her teeth out twice in microphone related accidents.

Which is why she looks like this:

Love you Lo! xoxo
May your 26th year be full of adventures abroad!

Ahoy!

SATC Sadness.

I didn't want to believe the critics. Or fellow bloggers. Or even my friends when they said how horrible Sex and the City 2 was. So this weekend I gave it a whirl.

BOMB! It was so awful, the only thing that could have improved it would have been some Harry Potter magic. Or Snape?

Also, I finally got a chance to watch the HBO movie, "Too Big to Fail",  and loved it. William Hurt  and Paul Giamotti were dead ringers for Hank Paulson and Ben Bernanke. And I'm not sure who played Nancy Pelosi—but it might as well have been Ms. Pelosi herself, because she was identical.

The trailer is pretty sweet too:

If you have HBO On Demand, you should check it out.

Look-alike Randomness.

I'm working on a project relating to 'New Orleans'. So, I'm thinking jazz...who-dat...voo-do...vampires...True Blood—OBSESSED! Then, I came across this picture of Lorena in this amazing dress with cropped mini gloves.

Which brings me to my point—is it just me or does Mariana Klaveno (who plays Lorena) look like a more 'mature' version of Kendall Jenner? Just saying.

This diagram is more for my Mom and Dad who will probably read this and have no idea who I'm talking about. And, no, they do not live in a cave.

p.s.—Also, this brilliant ad for True Blood, which starts back up on June 13.
