What I'm Working on Wednesday // Coastal Save the Dates

My client couple is the epitome of coastal cool. With a destination wedding in Rosemary Beach, and so many chic and creative DIY details it would make your head spin. It seemed only fitting to use an aqua and bright white color palette with nautical knots and mermaids for their letterpress save the dates.

Beyond thrilled with how these turned out!

What I'm Working on Wednesday // Save that Date!

I know I occasionaly like to toot my own horn—but hot damn! I just love this save the date design: metallic ionized silver envelopes and a vintage-meets-modern save the date card with a "couples logo" they can use forever... on stationery, Christmas cards, coasters, you name it. I think they came out great and I'm so excited that it's for such a super cute couple. (Secretly wishing I could turn back time and use it for me and McMuffin's save the date.)

What I'm Working on Wednesday // Sunshine Save the Date

Nothing like sunshine yellow to brighten up even the snowiest Buffalo, New York day. And that's exactly what we were going for—that and a little vintage-y vibe—to kick off this super special wedding for Melissa and Mike.

Taupe and yellow printing, kraft envelopes with a burst of sunshine yellow envelope liner!

Save the Date Crush.

When I got home Tuesday night, I found the most bonkers Save-the-Date from one of my BFFs—and fellow graphic designer—Nancy (not-for-long) Callen.

I mean. Right? Love!

EXTRA! EXTRA!

I'm super duper extra excited to announce the launch of Andrea Espach Design's shop on Etsy. Behold the new "shop" button to the right and here's a sneak peek of what you'll see when you go...

Head over for an exclusive look at a couple new projects! The latest save-the-date scratch off cards, as well as... wait for it.... gender reveal scratch off cards!

I'm super excited about the gender reveal cards, in case you couldn't tell. So if you're prego and want to share the exciting news of whether you're "hatching" a boy or girl in a different and fun way, you just have to check these out.

Mary Effin Sunshine

Weddings are fun. And they're supposed to be all butterflies and rainbows to plan. So what happens when you've already sent your save-the-dates and the invites are letterpressed and ready to go but you decide to change the venue, date, or even the groom. Heavy.

A client of mine and her fiancé have decided, after much thought, that they're moving their big day location from a destination wedding to something a little closer to home. They wanted to get the word out to their guests as soon as possible so no one would make unnecessary travel arrangements.

Here's what we came up with to share this revision of events and hopefully avoid any uncomfortable phone calls, emails, or messages.

What I'm Working on Wednesday :: Winning Save the Date

Luz and Vincent wanted to shake it up and do something a little different for their Save the Date. Well, they asked for it. Playing off the line: "He Won Her Heart!"— we used scratch-off stickers for an added layer of fun so the recipient has to scratch the hearts to find out the date.

*Mail with brand-spankin' new penny.

I think this idea could work really well too if the wedding venue was at a Casino or in Vegas.

And I said it before, I'll say it again. All I want for Christmas are a bunch more "like"s. Hit It! (by clicking on my name below.) Thanks Muffins!

What I'm Working on Wednesday :: Central Park Love

Caryn and Harry both got engaged and have locked down their wedding venue at two iconic landmarks in Central Park, Manhattan. So of course, this had to be the concept for their Save the Date. The only piece missing was the right artwork (at high resolution for low cost). The New York Public Library came to the rescue, and it came together perfectly!

If you're curious, a 300 dpi image of the 1860 Central Park layout was a whopping $45. Not bad, bargain shoppers.

What I'm Working on Wednesday: Story Time

So, it's a little later than promised, but I swear this particular Save the Date was worth the wait.

Kimberly and Dennis, the adorable bride and groom, have a super unique love story (unlike McMuffin and I—who romantically met at a bar). I could go into their amazing story, or I could let the Save the Date speak for itself.

Ahhhh—that photo! I melt.

Wedding invitations are in the works. And they are going to be gorgeously GLAM! Cannot wait to share them.
