I'm also in the (ever so slow) process of pulling everything together for my own freelance design business. I never have time to do all the little things like design a website, get business cards, etc. because I'm usually too busy designing those things for other companies. I've been fortunate enough to build my current client portfolio through recommendations and past client relationships—which is amazing. I'm so lucky to have clients and contacts who think so highly of my work. Yay! But I'm ready to take it to the next level.
I decided this would be the year to get my butt into gear. So, between my full time job as a designer for a larger company and the demands of being a wife and mommy to two cutie pie sons—I'm making AE Design a priority. And one of the people that always has my back and sings my praises much more than I think I deserve is my wonderful hubby, McMuffin. No, that's not his real name but I don't think he would want me to post things about him on the www. The guy isn't even on Facebook. *gasp
Anyway, my first (of many) blog posts is dedicated to the love of my life.
