Feast of the Six Fishes.

I can't find the link where this image is from. Let me know if you know!

For Christmas Eve, I'm tackling the Feast of the Seven Fishes (minus one—I'll round it out next year). Here's what's on the menu:

Course I:
• Shrimp Cocktail
• Crab Rangoons
• Calamari, Shrimp, Artichoke, Black Olive medley
• Clams Casino

Course II:
• Filet of Sole with garlic, lemon, butter sauce
• Brussels sprouts
• Lemon Broccoli
• Scalloped potatoes

Course III (Italians do their salad at the end of the meal.)
• Caesar Salad with homemade anchovy dressing
• Crusty Italian bread

• Hazelnut Nutella cookies
• Fruit

I'll try to document the process (if I don't get too stressed out) to share with you next week. We still have lots of wrapping to do and one last Christmas party/dinner tonight. Guess who'll be doing shots of espresso for the next 48 hours.

Wishing you all a wonderful Christmas weekend and the best of luck finding a seat for Christmas Eve mass. Cheers!
