What I'm Working On Wednesday: Baby's Christening

When I'm designing for my clients everything seems to come together fairly easy for me. But when I need to design something for me or my family I put way too much pressure on myself to make something super awesome and Trump's Baptism invitations are no exception. I think I'm late in the game with getting the baby Christened as it is—and getting the invitations just right was part of the reason (along with the fact that our church is insanely busy with scheduling—you'd think it was the 1940's the way St. Anthony's fills up for every single mass on Sundays).

Anyway, these puppies are finally in the mail and I really like how they turned out! So I'm sharing.

Matching light blue polka-dotted envelope inserts from Paper Source.

I took the photo of Trump and my good friend, Mike Brodner helped me retouch it to perfection!
(Trump of course is perfect...it was the background that needed some help.)

Sometimes when I really love something for a client, whether it's a font or a flourish I just can't help myself and I have to use it again for a personal project. I fell in love with this font after working on the Miz Mooz Lookbook for Fall/Winter2011.

Aaaand I thought I'd include this week's Sunday Sauce Dinner because it also came out super awesome and delicious.
