Seashells & Eggshells.

The previous owners of our house decorated the house in the traditional style—if you'd call it that—and one of these traditional pieces that didn't exactly fit with our "beachy chic" decor was this hanging lamp in our dining room. (It's not an awful lamp, just doesn't fit with the look we're going for. It's still available at Home Depot for something like $150, so if anyone wants it name your price and it's yours.)

My Dad and Hubby McMuffin figuring out the directions.

Securing the shells to the lamp.

There are between 4 and 6 shells inside each shell pack.

McMuffin and Dad start unwrapping and unraveling each shell.

Dad takes a break and I help out.

Li'l G woke up from his nap so my Sister and Mom took over.

Ta Daaaa!

And here are a few pics from the Easter holiday:

EGGIES!

Dying over these little loafers from the Gap. So cute.
